OLIVE CARDIGAN LOOK

Is the sexy librarian look a thing? If it's not, then I am stating the case for it. Librarians are often the masters of laying, never wearing anything less than a well put together outfit. And in that case, start calling me a librarian.

Layering is something that I will allude to time and time again because almost every outfit street style photographs and bloggers scramble to snap and save has a layering component to it. Whether it be layering a button up under a graphic sweater, or stacking bracelets upon a time piece, it can be the answer to a blank outfit revamping.

In this outfit, I relied heavily on several small layers to keep me warm. The additional contrasting colors of the Merlot button up and the olive cardigan add a nice visual component sans looking like a Christmas decoration. To contrast the contrasting (I know, it's like inception in an outfit), I added khakis, and a tie they incorporated almost all the tones used in my outfit already. Matching along with that, I paired a light leather watch to match the khakis as well. Just like the dewy decimal.
