Preppy fashion has gone wild in recent years. I mean that in in both a positive light and a negative manner. It's wonderful to see so many people embracing the colorful styles revolutionized by the flagship brands, but it's also a shame to see how many companies have taken advantage of that trend to charge a premium price for a foreign product that may not be worth it. Enter: Bayridge & Dock. Bayridge & Dock is the result of my tireless passion for the coastal preppy lifestyle and my ongoing quest to prove that achieving "the look" does not need to break the bank.

Bracelets are not my end goal, but rather the starting point in a journey to create an entire line of American Made preppy clothing at an affordable price. Made in America is expensive, but it is far from the $100+ prices American companies are demanding for their prep-wear now. I could take to Kickstarter and hope for your funding, but where's the fun in that? I want to share my dream and my passion with the world as I grow my brand. Bracelets not only serve to raise the capital needed to make my own line of American Made buttondowns, but also allow me to express my own nautical preppy style.

Some people express themselves through art, others through writing. I express myself through my clothing. Known among my friends as "the Easter Egg" or "the vineyard vines poster child," I'm rarely found wearing what most would consider normal colors. I take chances with my outfits, wearing bright colors with the utmost confidence. I'm most at home when I'm walking the sailboat-lined docks with Sperrys on my feet and blazer on my back; sporting some sort of vibrant shirt underneath. If you ever hear me mention wearing neutral colors or socks with sandals, go ahead and hand me a fresh glass of wine because I'm clearly not in the right state of mind. My clothing isn't about just looking good, it's about sharing my love of the good life with everyone around.

With any luck, Bayridge & Dock will inspire that same expressive outlet in people all over. Living on the coast isn't a requirement for desiring that lifestyle; slip on your boat shoes, roll up your chinos, and Sail Home to American Made prep.
